摘要:Prioritizing test cases are one of the most significant tasks in the software testing process. Test case prioritization techniques schedule the execution of test cases in a organize manner such that to achieve an objective function with greater efficiency. In test case prioritization technique the highest priority test cases are executed first and then lowest priority thus makes the testing effective. Test case prioritization will help to improve the rate of fault detection. In this paper presented the overview of test case prioritization which specified coverage based test case prioritization and cost oriented test case prioritization techniques then measuring effectiveness of the various prioritization techniques. The effectiveness of prioritization techniques measures with the help of APFD (rate of fault detection) i.e. average percentage of faults detected per minute, impact of fault and cost of each component to be tested.
