摘要:Medicine unlike other scientific disciplines has no single standardized vocabulary. It is favorable to emphasize the diversity of medical terms whose definition is rarely rigorous sometimes ambiguous specially the information from the medical image. Such imprecision is disadvantageous when you want to aggregate data from many medical practitioners. This gave birth of the annotation of medical image process. The diversifications of different sources from the annotations need to be modeled by using of data warehouses. However, classical conceptual modeling does not incorporate the specificity of these annotations. The process of developing a data warehouse starts with identifying and gathering requirements, designing the dimensional model followed by testing and maintenance. The design phase is the most important activity in the successful building of a data warehouse. For this reason, we focus in this paper on presenting the conceptual modeling of the data warehouse by defining a new profile using the StarUML extensibility mechanism
