  • 摘要:Steganogra phy has b een a com mo n mo de o f secret comm uni catio n in recent years. Although the steganogra phic a ppro ach can be ca rried out in either ima ge, audi o or video sig nals, due to t he a vaila bility of higher degree of redundan t d ata a nd easy accessibi lity i n tra nsmissio n mediums, d igita l ima ges are t he p reva lent practice o f stegano gra phy. G enerally, informatio n hiding inside a dig ital imag e results in deprivation o f so me visua l quality of t he i mag e. However, recen t a dvancement i n steganogra phic schemes has been ab le to develop techniques that can d isgui se a n information wit hin a d igita l ima ge in such a way tha t the cover image can be ta ken to it s ori gina l stat e aft er extracting the hidden informatio n. These techniq ues are commo nly referred to as Lossless Stegano grap hy or Reversible Stegano grap hy. Although lat e resea rches in stega nography have b een able to successful ly co nduct reversi ble steganography in spatial domain, reli able and robust lossless stegano grap hic technique in compressed d oma in i s yet a chall enge. In this pap er, we propo se a novel reversible steg anog raphic a ppro ach that can hide high capa city secret informatio n in loca tion based co mpressed domain. The p ropo sed method can comp letel y reconst ruct the cover i ma ge o r ho st image and pro vide the best po ssibl e percep tual q ualit y. The p ropo sed method can a lso provide i ts users with a k ey for hiding and ex tracting informat ion so that the robustness is a chieved in a g reat extent .
