  • 摘要:This paper puts forward a safe mechanism of data transmission to tackle the security problem ofinformation which is transmitted in Internet.The encryption standards such as DE S (DataEncryptionStandard), AES (Advanced EncryptionStandard) and EES (Escrowed E ncryption Standard)are widelyused to solve the problem ofcommunication over an insecure channel. Withadvanced technologies incomputer hardware andsoftware, these standards seem not to be as secureand fast as one wouldlike.Inthis paper we propose a encryption technique which provides security to both the message and the secretkeyachieving confidentiality and authentication. The Symmetric algorithm usedhas two advantages overtraditionalschemes. First, the encryption and decryptionprocedures are much simpler, andconsequently,much faster. Second, the security level is higher dueto the inherent poly-alphabetic natureof thesubstitution mapping method used here, together withthe translation and transposition operationsperformed in the algorithm.Asymmetric algorithm RSA is worldwide known for its highsecurity. In thispaper a detailed report of the process is presented and analysis is done comparing our proposedtechnique with familiar techniques
