摘要：Herbicides affect plants by blocking important physiological processes that are necessary for normal plant growth and development. Usually the active ingredience of the herbicide inhibits one or more enzymes that catalyze some of the important reactions involved in biosynthesis of organic compounds. Currently, there are approximately only 20 sites of action of herbicide in plants. Knowledge of herbicide mode of action is important in relation to prevention of species resistance in weed communities, proper choose of term of application and tank-mix combination partners, and also in relation to herbicide phytotoxicity symptoms of the crop (in case of application drift, herbicide residues in the soil, overdosage, insufficient washing of sprayer tank, etc.)
