摘要：Hailstones and hailstorm represent a significant abiotic factor that negatively influences the economic success of growing farm crops, including beet. This study is dedicated to drawing a historical overview of the damaging effect of the hailstorms’ occurrences in the Czech Republic upvuntil the year 2005. In all areas of beet growing, the damage caused by the hailstorm factor most often happened during the month of June.
