摘要：Sugar beet and fodder beet have a tradition in the CR concerning production and use, so we do believe, that in future their production will extend to ecological farms. In this article we worked up literature data and our own research during 2005–2007 with fodder and sugar beet at certified and controlled ecological site of the experimental station of Department of Crop Production (CULS Prague) in Uhříněves. We present here experiences with weeds regulation by stand organization change, line weeding and hoeing of fodder beet, cultivar Monro. In order to achieve earlier rows covering we verified reducing of interrows distance from 45 cm (three lines per plot) to 37,5 cm (four lines per plot). Based on these knowledges we have worked up suggestions for growing technology of sugar beet growed in ecological farming.
