摘要：Presently known hyperaccumulators of metals, in other words plants capable of over-accumulation metals in their tissues, meet the third criterion of an ideal plant for phytoremediation. In contrast, crops meet the first two criteria of an ideal plant for phytoremediation. In this paper we discuss the advantages and potential use of agricultural crops in phytoremediation with a view to further development towards increasing their accumulation properties.
