摘要:This study was conducted with the aim of determining the location skills of the elementary and high school students and to compareits causes and effects of this situation. A blank world ma p which was prepared related with this aim was applied to 214 5th class students in 5 primary schools, and 204 12th class students in 10 secondary schools in Istanbul. Survey method was used to achieve the aims of the study. Results were assessed on the computer environment and their descriptive analyses were done. According to the analyse results, it was seen that secondary school students were more successfull than prim ary school students in determining the locations of the co untries.
