  • 摘要:Ad hocnetworks are self forming, auto configuringwithout any kind of pre-existing infrastructure.With the dearth of pre-defined topology there is norouter or controlling device. Two mobile nodes canexchange data directly if they are in the definedrange ofeach other. If not, nodes can communicatevia a multi-hop route with the help of other mobilenodes. In this paper we have proposed an approachto reduce the data traffic and to increase dataavailable in the mobile ad-hoc network. In theproposed method,MANET is server client basednetwork, means a mobile host acts as a server andfulfil the others node's request. Each mobile nodehas a buffer for temporary storing data segment fora particular time, If a mobile node requests for aparticular data segmentand the request is multihoped, then first request is sent to its (requester)neighbournode,neighbournode first matchrequested data segment with holed copy of datasegment, if it is matched the request will beresponded by thisneighbourotherwise request willbe routed to mobile server. In this way the overheadof the server and data traffic in the server zone willbe reduced. The proposed method reduces timeconsumed by multiple nodes and data availabilitywill be enhanced. Another approach lifetimeratio(LR) of the active route for the intermediate node isintroduced to increase the number of unsuccessfulpackets delivery. Simulation results focused on theimprovement of the packet delivery in the routingprotocol
