摘要:This paper presen ts the e arth quake model by u sing a laser range finder while using laws of refle ction and few tri gonometric equations. It give very qu ick outpu t and very accu rate. As it is known th at the earthqu ake i s the mos t des tructive force of the natu re, in pre sent number of detectors are us ed to dete ct th e earthqu ake. Here a ne w de tector is proposed to detect the earthquake by u sing a las er rangefinder. The laser range finder gives th e ou tput very fast and i ts sen sing ability is also very good, th at is why it is used with a mathe matical approach [3] to detect th e earthqu ake in this propos ed model .Th e sen sor response to the su rface properti es lik e reflected property and i ts intensity ch anged w.r.t material properties . Th is whole approach es us ed in this paper to detect the e arthquake
