摘要：Image enhancement is used for improving the visual quality of an image. In this paper two methods for image enhancement using image fusion have been described. The process of image fusion uses a source image and its histogram equalized image. The two algorithms discussed assigns weights to the source image and its histogram equalized image. First algorithm assigns weight manually whereas the second algorithm assigns them automatically. The two algorithms are compared using standard deviation and average gradient
