摘要：Geographic routing uses location information to forward data packets, in a hop-by-hop routing fashion. Greedy forwarding is used to select next hop forwarder with the largest positive progress towards the destination. Communication voids are the most intolerable events that occurred at the time of transmission in Mobile adhoc Networks, where geographic greedy forwarding fails to move a packet further towards its destination, This article presents a survey on effectiveness of various void-handling techniques for geographic routing based on void problem to find an efficient void-handling technique for Geographic routing.
