其他摘要：This dissertation first introduces the structure and characteristic of BMP file and then the LSB algorithm. A lossy information hiding algorithm named HSB (Highest Significant Bits) is proposed in order to break the limit of the embedded image by the traditional LSB algorithm. The new algorithm is based on 24-bit BMP image and increases the size of the embedded image, which is applicable to both image and text. The development environment is VS2008 and it demonstrates the correctness and effectiveness of the new algorithm.
