其他摘要:On a basis of the literature review of the Conceptual Metaphor Theory, its application in language teaching and of the researches of emotional scaffolding, the article provides cases in classroom teaching to elaborate on how individual foreign language teacher constructs emotional scaffolding with appropriate metaphors and analogies in the hope of promoting the discourse comprehension and intercultural competence of the students and advocating more researchers and teachers engaging in new explorations for integration of the latest linguistic theories and language teaching to improve the effectiveness of higher vocational English teaching and studies of teacher autonomy and learner autonomy in higher vocational colleges.
