摘要：The paper presents the project of the Department of Information Sciences of the Faculty of Philosophy in Osijek, within which the students did their field-work practice in the Franciscan monastery in Tolisa, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project started in 2010 and this paper describes the PHASE I of the project, i.e. the initial activities in organising the materials in the monastery library. The paper also elaborates the professional problems and doubts the students encountered in their work, as well as the students’ opinions and attitudes regarding the practical placement during their entire study period and at the Franciscan monastery in Tolisa.
