摘要：Esse trabalho visa resgatar por meio de um retrato hist¨®rico o turismo no munic¨ªpio de Iacanga e a partir desse retrato, identificar o seu potencial tur¨ªstico, principalmente aqueles atrativos que j¨¢ foram mais bem explorados e nos dias atuais encontram-se desprovidos de infra-estrutura adequada. Para isso, utilizou-se como estudo de caso a praia fluvial das Palmeiras, localizada em um setor hidrogr¨¢fico da cidade influenciado pela forma..o do reservat¨®rio de Ibitinga, no rio Tiet¨º. Nesse local, diversos eventos e atividades tur¨ªsticas atra¨ªram muitos turistas regionais ao local, principalmente na d¨¦cada de 1980 e hoje, merece um diagn¨®stico seguido por um progn¨®stico
其他摘要：This work aims to rescue the tourism in the city of Iacanga by a historical picture and from this, identify its historical potential, mainly those attractive that were already better explored and nowadays are found without appropriate infrastructure. For that, it was considered as a case study the Palmeiras river sea, located in a hydrographic area of the city influenced by the Ibitinga reservoir formation, in the Tiet¨º River. At this place, several tourist events and activities attracted many regional tourists to the area, mainly in the 80's and today, deserves a diagnosis followed by a prognostic of improvements and new alternatives
