摘要:This paper aimsto develop a new approach to assess the duration ofstate in the DEVS formalism by fuzzycontroller.The idea is todefine a set of fuzzy rules obtained from observers or expert knowledge and tospecify a fuzzy model which computes thisduration, thislatterisfedintothe simulator to specify the newvalue in the model.In conventional model, each state is defined bya mean lifetime value whereas ourmethod, calculates for each state the new lifetime according to inputsvalues. Awildfirecase study ispresented at the end of the paper. It is a challenging task due to its complex behavior, dynamical weathercondition,and various variables involved. A global specification of the fuzzy controller and the forest firemodel are presented in the DEVS formalism and comparison between conventional and fuzzy method isillustrated.
