Organizations are slow in utilising information technologies to manage employment screening. A framework is proposed to improve the effectiveness of online employment screening. The IT utilisation framework integrates online recruitment, selection, screening and hiring tools in light of the recent developments in web service and cloud computing technologies to enable integration. The grounded theory method was used to develop the framework followed by the discussion on the implications of various relationships within the framework using quantitative information gathered from an email questionnaire survey.
