其他摘要：The purpose of this research is to determine and compare the burnout levels of primary schoolinspectors according to their some social, demographic and professional characteristics. The study is conducted in a descriptive way. The universe of the research consists of 242 primary school inspectorswho work in Ankara (175), Malatya (52) and Mu. (15) provinces during the 2008-2009 educational period. In the research, "Maslach Burnout Inventory" which was developed by Maslach and Jackson were used to getdata. According to the results of research, the following findings wer e obtained:primary schoolinspectors live the exhaustion at medium level in terms of 'emotional exhaustion' and at low level in terms of 'personal success and insensitive'.The burnout levels of primary schoolinspectorsshowed differences according to the variablesmarital status,perceptions of respectability and the future of their profession, participate in social and cultural activities experience and seniority.Inspectors who has juststartedhis/her new task, living separated from his/her family, don't attend cultural and social activities and his/her work isheavy should be given to ways of coping with burnout.In addition, personal rights of education inspectorsshould be improved
