摘要:The purpose of this research is determine the learning levels of teacher candidates about reading skill basic concepts. According to this purpose “Basic Concepts About Reading Skill” form is prepared and applied to teacher candidates. Total 126 teacher candidates are participate to this research from Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Education Department of Turkish Education who are to participate in Comprehension Techniques II: Reading Education course. According to results teacher candidates are deficient concept learning level for the purposes of “Reading and Basic Concepts”, “Reading Variety, Method and Techniques”, “Reading to Text Genres” titles. Furthermore teacher candidates to have misconceptions about basic reading concepts.
