摘要:The purpose of the present study was to develop a new valid and reliable scale to measure attitudes of preservice classroom teachers toward physical education lesson. 164 Primary Teaching Program students from Karadeniz Technical University Fatih Education Faculty voluntarily participated in this study. In the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis conducted concerning 40 items in the scale in order to check validity of scale; it was determined that the scale is a 1-factor scale and the number of items was reduced to 25. Item load values are between 0,739 and 0,884. In order to test reliability of the scale, Cronbach Alfa reliability and two-halves test correlation coefficients were checked and the said values were found as 0,98 and 0,96 respectively. As a conclusion; it was determined in the outcome of the study of validity and reliability that the scale prepared for scaling attitudes of pre-service classroom teachers’ towards physical education lesson is a practicable scaling tool
