摘要:The future generation wireless networks are expected tobeheterogeneous networksconsistingofUMTS,WLAN, WiMAX,LTE etc.A heterogeneous network provides users withdifferentdata rate and Quality ofService (QoS).Users of future mobile networks will be able to choose from different radio accesstechnologies. These networks vary widely in service capabilities such as coverage area, bandwidth anderror characteristics. Network selection is a challenging task in heterogeneous networks and willinfluence the performance metrics of importance forboth service provider and subscriber.This paperanalysesuser centric network selection based on QoE (Quality of Experience) which include bothtechnical and economical aspects of the user.WLAN-WiMAX-UMTS networks are integrated and thenetwork selection for the integrated network is performed using game theory based network selectionalgorithm.
