摘要:Orthogonalfrequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is an emergingresearchfieldof wirelesscommunication.Itis one of the mostproficient multi-carrier transmissiontechniqueswidely used today asbroadband wired & wireless applications having several attributes such asprovides greater immunity tomultipath fading & impulse noise,eliminatingintersymbolinterference (ISI),inter carrier interference(ICI)& the need for equalizers.OFDMsignals have ageneralproblem of high peak to average powerratio (PAPR) which is defined as the ratio of the peak power to the average power of the OFDMsignal. The drawback ofhigh PAPR is that the dynamic range of the power amplifier(PA)anddigital-to-analog converter(DAC).In this paper, an improvedscheme of amplitude clipping & filteringmethodis proposed andimplemented which shows the significant improvement in case of PAPR reductionwhile increasing slight BER compare to an existingmethod.Also, the comparative studiesof differentparameterswill be covered.
