摘要:Women of color (scholars and an administrator) from different cultural, ethnic, and racial backgrounds and disciplines within academe share their personal and professional experiences in higher education from their unique cultural and discipline perspectives. The article focuses on strategies that women of color in academia can use to integrated their multiple identities, transgress marginalities, cross boundaries, and subsequently, find a sense of self-definition in predominantly White institutions and contexts. It culminates with recommendations for combating problems associated with marginalization and oppression of women of color
