摘要：Alon g with the tren ds o f 'Glocalisatio n', the in terests in th e mo dern ization and in dus trialization of Koreantradition al build ings are g ro win g co nsiderab ly. As th e local g overn ments, su ppo rted by the centralau th orities, held related worksh ops and prop osed pilot projects, the research an d develop ment in th e CAADs ystem d esig ned for Korean trditional b uildin gs are identified as an im portant and urgent task . Thank s toth e v irtual bu ild ing techno logy b as ed o n ob ject-o riented mo deling, we have a numb er of practice-applicables oftware systems av ailable co mmercially. M ost o f such sy stems, h owev er, ex hibit difficulties in sup portingth e mo deling of Korean trad itional b uildin gs.
