摘要:This article gives an overview of the recent developments in category ma-nagement. The study lead to a better understanding of the intricacies and compre-hensiveness of category management and shows that it encourage development on the retail's and on the producer's side . Although the concept is the same, in practice there are a large number of differences to be found. Accoridngly, it is shown impor-tance of category manager and complexity of this activity. It was insight comunication development between producers and retails through time. Because of its importance and compexity, it was showed necessry educations, activities and abilities of category managers.
