摘要：The rescue is not short term; it is a wide concept. The rescue services perform their duties in all over the world. Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 is the first successfully tested model of trained emergency service in Pakistan. The government of Punjab has established this emergency service through legislation to provide a system for emergency preparedness, response and prevention. The study was aimed to investigate the community perception regarding rescue services 1122 and its performance in D. G. Khan. Therefore, the universe of the study was two union councils (Union council no. 4 and Union council no.7) of city D. G. Khan. Data were collected from 120 respondents from both union councils through well-designed interview schedule. It was found that all (100%) respondents had liked the Rescue 1122, most of the respondents i.e. (53.4%) agreed that that Rescue 1122 attends majority of events. All (100%) respondents were agreed with the modernized infrastructure of Rescue 1122. A huge majority (90.8%) of the respondents declared that Volunteer Training Program is good for community safety. About half (48.5%) of the respondents had announced that the purpose of Volunteer Training Program were Educational, Medical and Awareness program. A huge majority (97.5%) of the respondents asked that the Rescue 1122 is saving lives of the community in a better way.
