摘要:A body of literature has been produced over the last three decades evaluating criminology and criminal justice education outlets. Research productivity, quality, and peer appraisals offer varied methods in determining prestige of individual programs. In order to synthesize this research into a more useable format, a meta-analysis was performed on studies ranking criminal justice/criminology doctoral programs. The findings reveal that rankings of programs tend to be fairly stable. Variance is observed, however, with type of method employed in measuring program quality.
