摘要：Depression and Suicide in children and adolescents create an enormous burden for them, theirfamilies, and the nation. These disorders threaten the future health and well-being of youngpeople. Depression adversely affects the development of the young people in a range of areassuch as establishing healthy interpersonal relationships, succeeding in school, and transitioningto the workforce. Depression and suicide are commonly associated. Depression is the mostcommon of the mental disorders leading to suicide and it also greatly increases risk for suicideespecially in older adolescents
