摘要：The Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales – II Edition2005 (Vineland-II) is useful inassessing abilities in autism spectrum disorder, where an accurate assessment ofintelligence using standardized tools is difficult both due to the unique social andcommunication difficulties that these children present with and the behavioral issues thatoccur as co morbidity. We describe the scale and our experience in using the scale.Difficulties in administration of the scale to Indian children are illustrated. The mainreasons for these difficulties center on cultural differences in gender roles and differencesin the way some self care tasks are performed
