摘要:Soya bean is one of the oldest cultivated plants used in the technical and food industries thanks to its high protein contents and the large quantity of highly nutritious oil it provides. The plant is very sensitive to weed-choking, and, in keeping with the current and future preoccupations concerning the reduction of environmental pollution with substances that can affect human or animal health, the target of the researches conducted so far consists in studying the physiological peculiarities of germination of the soya bean seeds after their being treated with the herbicides Basagran Forte and Leopard 5EC. In that respect, assessments have been made of the imbibing speed, and the germinative faculty and the growth index in the soya bean seeds have been determined. The germination were inhibited by the herbicide Basagran Forte and was stimulated by the use of the herbicide Leopard 5EC. The growth index presented small variations in all the working variants with the two herbicides, as compared to the control, so a logical conclusion can be drawn, namely that those substances had a greater influence on the process of germination and root growth, and less on the growth of the stem
