摘要：The present paper proposes an inclusion probability propor-tional to size sampling scheme for sample of two units. This scheme possessessome desirable properties with regards to the inclusion probabilities, and pro-vides an unbiased and non-negative variance estimator as is expected in theHT model. An empirical study with help of a wide variety of natural popula-tions, is also undertaken to examine the performance of the suggested schemecompared to some other sampling schemes.
