  • 摘要:In this study, how the Science and Technology Teachers' needs related with the Project-Based Teaching Method (PBTM) shows a distribution according to the demographic characteristics will be examined as a qualitative perspective. The study was carried out with 14 Science and Technology teachers in 2008-2009 academic year. The teacher profile survey was used to determine the demographic characteristics of teachers and the semi-structured interview was used to determine the needs. The content analysis of the data obtained from the semi-structured interview was carried out by using Nvivo-9.0 software. The 12 needs, related with PPBTM which identified as a result of analysis of the interviews, discussed according to the some variables such as teachers' professional experience, graduated faculty type, status of in-service training, the prepared project type and location of the school. As a result of the analyses made, it was concluded that the needs showed several differences accordingly variables which were taken into consideration. At the end of the study some suggestions were presented
