摘要：This paper and the following papers present an application of wireless sensor networks (WSNs)in health care setting. The application involves building a reliable transmission system to transmit physiological data from ICU gateway to central server wirelessly in hospitals. Due to the length of this project, this paper will include several parts, which are published separately. This part mainly focuses on implementation issues.
