摘要:The existing teaching within public schools in Sindh, generally, is not learner centered.Verbal and corporal punishment and unfavorable learning environment do not satisfy theconditions from behaviorists' perspective.Present quasi-experimental study aimed to find out the effect of verbal and nonverbal'social reinforcers' on learning outcomes under reinforcement-based and existing teaching atavailable two sections of ninth grade in a public high school. The two hypotheses wereformulated to find out the difference between both groups' overall and randomly selected afew below average students' learning outcomes. Both the groups were already parallel and theparallel teaching was ensured through base line observation. Pre and posttests' mean scoreswere analyzed using t-test.The findings revealed and confirmed both the alternate hypotheses. The students oftreatment group including its below average students excelled in achieving better andstatistically significant learning outcomes than that of the control group respectively
