摘要：Globalization inspite of its touted advantages has become the greatest threat to economic and political sovereignty. Capitalism as we know it is falling apart especially in sub-Saharan Africa with a diverse culture and where the transformation is pervasive. This paper examines globalization historically, its dimension and context, national cultures and the ethnical perception of globalization. And concludes by examining the disruptive effect on African societies.
