摘要：By using the statistics from the Vietnamese families and women in families in the industrialization and modernization period as well as the results of the survey the women and renovation in Vietnam, we could conclude that women in today's families become one of two main people (husband and wife) who create income supporting families. In addition, women still have the dominant role in taking over housework in families. Obviously, the role of women has become very important in doing the duties that nurture and reproduce the working ability of other members in family. This demonstrates that the family model: husbands - the earner for families, wives - the housewife is not very popular in Vietnam at current time
