摘要：This case study aims analyzing the relationship between the emotional intelligence (EI) and mental skills in elite male volleyball players in Semnan province at IRAN. To do this survey, 35 elite volleyball players in Semnan Who were chosen. OMSAT-3 and T. Bradberry & J. Greaves (2005) questionnaire were used to collect data. Correlation analysis results between the variables (P<0.05) showed that: there is a significant positive relationship between the emotional intelligence and mental skills components such as: Goal setting, self-confidence, commitment, relaxation, focusing, Imagery, and mental practice. But there was no significant relationship between the emotion intelligence and mental skills components: Stress control, fear control, Activation, Refocusing, and Competition planning
