摘要:In this paper we analyze the process of technical and organizational innovation throughwhich Aranzadi (the leading firm in the Spanish legal information sector) adapted to thechanges in its environment in the late 1980s and early 1990s. After a theoretical intro-duction, we introduce the firm analyzed (Aranzadi) and study some of the factors thatprovoked the beginning of the innovation process in the late 1980s. Then, we analyzethe main phases of the process of introduction of IT and organizational change inAranzadi. Afterwards attention is focused on product and process innovation. Then, weconsider the organizational change and the downsizing effect in the organizational struc-ture. Finally, we draw the main conclusions of this case study
