摘要：MTT-S Chapter of Serbia and Montenegro has participated in organizing and supporting several international and national conferences. The two main conferences supported by the MTT-S Chapter in this period were ICEST 2005 and TELSIKS 2005 at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Ni., Serbia & Montenegro. XXXIX International Scientific Conference on Information, Communication and Energy Systems and Technologies - ICEST 2005 was held on June 29 ¨CJuly 1, 2005. It is organized by Faculty of Electronic Engineering ¨C Ni., Serbia and Montenegro, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Bitola FYROM and Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria. The technical program included 184 papers from 14 countries (Region 8 mostly). The most important sections for the micowave audience were Microwave electronics, Antennas, Applied Electromagnetics and Wireless commuications. The 7th IEEE Conference on Telecommunication in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services - TELSIKS 2005, was held from 28 to 30 September, 2005. It was organized by the Faculty of Electronic Engineering - Ni., under IEEE MTT-Society, Communications Society, AP-Society and Region 8 technical co-sponsorships, and in co-operation with IEEE Section of Serbia and Montenegro, IEEE MTT-S Chapter of Serbia and Montenegro and IEEE Communications Chapter of Serbia and Montenegro. All submitted scientific and application oriented contributed papers were reviewed by the International Review Board. Authors of the papers are from 30 countries all over the world. The technical program included plenary session, 12 oral and 6 poster sessions, two workshops, round table and several professional meetings and commercial presentations. Some members of the Chapter helped organizing and participated at national conference on telecommunications "TELFOR'05", which was held in Belgrade, on November 22-25, 2005 (session "Applied electromagnetics and electronics").
