摘要：the main aim of this work is to understand how different port governance models could correspond to different information systems among the actors (i. e. Port Authorities, cruise terminal concessionary companies and others) of a seaport system. In order to analyse how the information about passenger flows is managed within ports characterized by different governance models, the study focuses on the information system used by concessionary cruise terminal companies to collect, elaborate and report data to the Port Authority. This is an explorative study conducted through a qualitative approach and the use of case study methodology. The cases analysed are four Italian concessionary cruise terminal companies.
