摘要:Carbonized spent green tea dredge was used as adsorbent for the Remazol Brilliant Yellow [RBY] dye adsorption in a batch process. The experimental data were analyzed by the Langmuir and Freundlich models of adsorption. Experimental results show that the kinetic model of pseudo second order provided a good description of the whole experimental data more than the kinetics of Lagergreen first order. The results revealed that the spent tea dredge, being waste, have the potential to be used as a low-cost adsorbent for the removal of Remazol Brilliant Yellow from aqueous solutions
