摘要:The present work intends to compare the behavior of six wheat varieties grown in Morocco, under the effect of salt stress at germination stage. The study was carried out in a growth chamber whose temperature and photoperiod are controlled. The seeds are germinated in Petri dishes containing increasing concentrations of salt (NaCl) from 0 g / L to 15 g / L. The study showed that the salt has a depressive effect on the germination and growth of seedling. However, this effect varies with the intensity of stress and variety. Achtar variety proved to be the most tolerant to salt stress with a germination rate of 46.38% in the most severe condition of stress (15 g / L), while Toumouh variety proved the least tolerant with a germination rate of 3.80% under the same stress
