摘要：This paper investigates the systematic covariation among various dimensions pertaining tobatting and bowling capabilities of T20 cricket usingthe advanced statistical technique of factor analysis.Thereal dataset of 85 batsmen and 85 bowlers has been consideredfrom Indian Premier League (IPL) 2012for analysis purpose.The findings of this study show that batting capability dominates over bowling capability.This conclusion coincides with the general opinion of several cricketing enthusiasts and experts; however till date, there is no research study, to the best of the author's knowledge that provides statistical evidence to support this notion
