摘要:IEEE 802.16e is the latest broadband wireless access standard designed to support mobility.IEEE 802.16e (MAC + PHY) is an emerging standard for mobile wireless broadband access systems.In any mobile networks, power saving is one of the most important features for the extension of devices'lifetime. To enhance the power efficiency of broadband wireless sensor networks based on batterypower, power saving strategies based on cross-layer design is proposed for IEEE 802.16e sleep-mode operation. In this paper first we implement the MAC layer & PHY layer. MAC layer with its featuresare implemented. Second we use the modulation techniques (BPSK, QPSK & 16QAM) with OFDMphysical layer to reduce the packet loss. Also analyzing the throughput & delay with time
