摘要：This study aims to investigate the effects of internet on the Turkish language.Case study which is a qualitative research design was used for the study. With this aimin mind, forum and MSN records were evaluated with content analysis. Findings wereexamined based on four factors; "sound characteristic", "words", "syntax" and"orthography". At the end of the study it was observed that new expressions, patterns,symbols and using practices are entering in Turkish language via internet. It alsoaffected the content and symbols of written language. The borrowed rules and wordsfrom English spoil the structure of the Turkish language and causes degeneration
