摘要：Objective:To evaluate the process components of routineimmunization such as planning of immunizationsessions, cold-chain and logistic management,community mobilization, appropriate technique ofvaccination etc. in district Anand, Gujarat.Study Design:Cross-sectional observational study.Study setting:Sub-centre or Aanganwadi where immunizationsessions are conducted and Primary HealthCentres.Methods:Total 88 immunization sessions were evaluated in44 PHCs. With the help of pre-tested structuredquestionnaire information was gathered.Results:Almost 46 percent of session sites did not have listof beneficiaries for active mobilization. In nearly78.4 % of sessions, number of mobilizer presentduring immunization session was one and/or two.Only 50 percent of session sites had all vaccinesavailable. 93.2 % of Primary Health Centres hadno written plan for supervision of immunizationsessions. Out of 44 PHC, in 29.6 % of PHCs,sessions were not conducted as per micro-plan onthe date of visit..Conclusion:All ASHA / Aanganwadi workers should mobilizeinfants from their respective area if village hasmore than one AWW/ASHA. There is need tosend BCG vaccine at all session sites irrespectiveof wastage concerns. Problem of Vacant post ofFHW or FHW on leave/deputation should be dealtwith.
