摘要:A workshop on evaluationmethodology was designed at GovernmentMedical College, Bhavnagar. The workshopcomprised of six modules namely: Mechanicsof Paper setting, MCQ formulation & Itemanalysis, Mini CEX, OSPE, OSCE andStructured Viva. Study was carried out withaim to find out effectiveness of workshop inchanging knowledge and attitude towardsdifferent evaluation methodology.Method:Instruction was provided during a one dayworkshop with eight hours interactivesessions. Medical teachers from different partsof Gujarat participated, and the instructorswere experienced clinicians and educationist.Lectures, group discussions, case simulations,video presentations and role-plays were theforms of instruction.Results:Using standardized questionnaires, theparticipants rated the quality of the workshophighly. They considered it to be a feasible andappropriate educational intervention and that ithad a positive impact on their teaching skills.Conclusion:This workshop showed that significant changein knowledge and attitude towards differentaspects of medical Student Evaluation process. The results show that it is a suitable andeffective educational intervention
