摘要：The 2003 European Competitiveness Report of the European Commission1devoted a chapter to theeffects of investments in information and communication technologies (ICT) on the level of firmsproductivity. The chapter is very interesting for its comprehensive vision about a primordial tendency incurrent strategies and practices of enterprises, the methodological elements it refers to, and conclusionsdrawn from studies carried out in this sense. The main theoretical, methodological and practical ideas ofthat chapter are highlighted below
